The Oblack Education Foundation is committed to assisting individuals wanting to make lifelong learning a reality. The foundation enables continuous learning by providing $1000 scholarships for students entering their first year of any 2 or 4 year college, university, community college, or trade school. The 2008-2009 winner was AmberRose Houck. Amber is a graduate of Molalla High School. She is attending Oregon State University to receive a bachelor’s degree in chemistry with plans to pursue a master’s degree and doctorate degree in pharmaceutical chemistry with the goal of finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. God bless AmberRose as she directs her research to find a cure for this crippling disease.
