The Oblack Education Foundation is committed to assisting individuals wanting to make lifelong learning a reality. Continuous learning is a lifelong process comprised of the sum of learning, training and development.

Learning– the acquisition and the creation of new knowledge and ideas that changes the way an individual perceives, understands or acts.
Training– to transfer the knowledge and know-how that is required for successful performance in a job, occupation or profession.
Development– refers to all means intended for developing skills and abilities, as well as careers, through the practical application of knowledge and know-how.

  • Providing scholarships for students entering their first year of any 2 or 4 year college, university, community college or trade school.
  • Sponsoring reading programs that inspire children to learn and grow through reading.
  • Purchasing books for The City of Molalla, Oregon Public Library.
